Stanton Gets First TOPPS NOW Yanks Card

He’s only been a Yankee for a few days officially, but Giancarlo Stanton already has his first TOPPS NOW card in Pinstripes. Available until noon ET Wednesday, the card depicts Stanton displaying his new threads bearing No. 27 from his introductory press conference on Monday.

The hulking slugger and reigning N.L. MVP and home run champion mashed a career-high 59 home runs and drove in 132 runs while posting a 1.007 OPS and 7.6 WAR, per Baseball Reference.

He joins A.L. home run champ Aaron Judge in the Yankees outfield for 2018. Judge was a hugely popular hit with TOPPS fans, with seven of the top 10 selling cards in 2017 in the format, the joint venture between Topps and MLB that provides the best images to fans on a daily basis.
