The Real Battle Of The Bronx

On April 9, Rob Walsh — writing for The Irish Echo,  shared a story of when he went up to Fordham University’s beautiful Rose Hill campus on Easter Weekend to watch one of the longest standing college baseball rivalries between Fordham Rams and Manhattan College Jaspers.

It dates back to 1870 and games have been played all across the Bronx, including Yankee Stadium. This rivalry is known as the “Battle of the Bronx.”

Walsh — and Gotham Baseball for that matter — would like to see this game return to the big ballpark in the Bronx.  Share this story, and let the Yankees know the Battle Of The Bronx should have the biggest stage of them all.
