MLB Network To Air Winter Meetings Coverage

With the pursuit of free agent Shohei Ohtani in full-swing and the Giancarlo Stanton trade rumors heating up, MLB Network is preparing extensive coverage of the 2017 Baseball Winter Meetings in Orlando, Florida next week, with insiders Peter Gammons (@pgammo), Jon Heyman (@JonHeyman)Ken Rosenthal(@Ken_RosenthalJoel Sherman (@Joelsherman1) and Tom Verducci reporting live across MLB Network’s more than 35 hours of on-site programming.

MLB Network’s coverage will also feature the Modern Baseball Era election results announcement from the National Baseball Hall of Fame this Sunday, December 10 during MLB Tonight at 6:00 p.m. ET. Steve Garvey, Tommy John, Don Mattingly, Marvin Miller, Jack Morris, Dale Murphy, Dave Parker, Ted Simmons, Luis Tiant andAlan Trammell were named last month as the candidates for Modern Baseball Era Committee consideration for the Class of 2018.
