Baby Bombers Get Jammed in Jamestown

The Staten Island Yankees fell to the host Jamestown Jammers for the second time when the Jammers got to Yankees starter Shane Greene and reliever Wilton Rodriguez for five runs on twelve hits.

Right-handed pitcher Shane Greene went four and two-third innings allowing 4 runs on 8 hits and a walk while striking out five.  Wilton Rodriguez was next and he went three and a third innings allowing a run on four hits.

The Yankees on the other hand were only able to muster up one run on five hits off of four Jammer pitchers.\

Eduardo Sosa, Kevin Mahoney, Shane Brown, Jose Mojica and Kelvin De Leon accounted for the five Yankee hits. De Leon scored the only Staten Island run.

Tomorrow is the final game of the three-game set with right-hander Mikey O’Brien set to take the hill for the Staten Island Yankees
